Unlike in the past, people with disabilities are recognized today, and they are less discriminated against. In many countries, there are laws that protect them and make their lives easier. Plus many public buildings have been designed or renovated to accommodate people with disabilities. With all these reforms, people with disabilities are now able to travel to places far away from home for vacation or business travel. However, with all the reforms we have made, traveling for people with disabilities is still a challenge for them, especially if they are traveling alone or traveling to an unknown destination.
